ELIC is committed to providing the best professional training possible. Each UTP teacher receives both cross-cultural and classroom training from Wheaton College including a graduate-level TESOL certificate. ELIC also provides teaching resources online and on every campus in order to help teachers thrive and be successful. ELIC seeks to match your unique gifts by offering a variety of teaching opportunities.
Team
ELIC values diverse and thriving teams. Living and working alongside a community of singles, couples, and families from a variety of backgrounds is an integral part of the University Teaching Program. Team members provide emotional and spiritual support and encouragement, and meet regularly for academic planning and collaboration.
Professional Development
ELIC provides multiple opportunities for professional development. Through ELIC's partnership with Wheaton College you have the opportunity to earn a tuition-reduced MA in TESOL and Intercultural Studies.
For those looking for other MA options, we also offer ways to earn your MA while serving overseas through our partnership with Grand Canyon University. More details are available upon request. Additionally, we have Ph.D. options from Biola University. ELIC also offers language learning opportunities in each of the countries we serve.
