Laos
In the late 1990's ELIC was invited to the country of Laos. Since then we have been asked by the government to have teams at every university in the country. This landlocked nation is known for its kind, quiet people (besides festival times!), diverse ethnic groups, and incredible landscapes.
We have been honored by the partnerships we've been able to establish in this country and have seen incredible growth here throughout the last 20 years.
Laos has the nickname Lao PDR (Please Don’t Rush) – You should be comfortable with a slower pace of life, have a sense of adventure (going to visit students’ villages), a heart for students, and a commitment to the team you’ll be working with. If this sounds like you, we'd love to chat further about how you can make an impact in this beautiful country!
